Pac 12 Networks start August 15th. Charter customers are still watching and waiting!
Can you imagine Charter customers on the West Coast missing Cal vs USC and having the Big Ten Network, that is on Charter, force them to watch Penn State vs Indiana?
UPDATE
Still no word on Charter; but, Astound Cable has signed on with the Pac 12 Networks with their 325,000 households in Northern Califonia, Oregon and Washington today to carry the networks.

Charter..... time to join the bandwagon.
UPDATE 2
As per the comments below by jgu3, Jim Jones, a very knowledgeable observer of the Pac 12 Networks, reports on Jon Wilner's blog of the San Jose Mercury News that Charter is listening and they are negotiating right now. He expects a deal with Charter within the "next several days." He also expects deals with Verizon, ATT and a few others."

I just received a reply from Jim Jones to a post I did regarding the latest with Charter. Here's what he said:

As you are aware, Jim Jones has been very good with any information regarding the Pac-12 Networks and cable providers. This is good news and hopefully an announcement could be made sometime either before or after the August 15th launch date. Let's keep our fingers crossed and hope for the best.
